Payment Processing, Walk-In Payment Centers

With more than a 1000 locations in the continental US, our Walk-in Payment Centers are comprised of various retail categories that have been specifically chosen for their relationship to the cash-centric community. You will find Authorized Qpay locations that are cellular boutiques, convenience stores, check-cashing establishments, drug stores, grocery stores, and a variety of other types of related businesses. And our processing package of hardware and software has been designed to work in multiple retail environments, from the small “Mom & Pop” to the multi-store retail chains that have become such a prevalent fixture in the American consumer landscape.

The “package” that enables retailers to be authorized Qpay Walk-In Payment Centers, has rapidly gained an industry wide reputation as the “walk-in payment agent in a box”. The hardware consists of a Verifone Omni 3750 Smart/Swipe Card Terminal and or any PC running Windows ME, 2000, or XP, along with a card reader (for the PC based solution) and a receipt printer. In terms of functionality both options are very similar, and when used in conjunction with one another, they provide a truly uninterruptible processing platform. All equipment is provided by Qpay to its Agents at no cost, comes pre-configured and with unlimited training and support. The payment processing software and applications have all been developed in-house by our development team in order to maximize efficiency for the Agent, ensure accuracy for the service providers, and be in full compliance with all applicable fiduciary safeguards and regulations.

The two payment-processing solutions or “portals” are the cornerstones of our Walk-In Payment processing abilities. They function seamlessly with one another and are installed in the pay agent locations in our network:

1. Verifone OMNI 3750 Terminal: a self-dialing terminal manufactured by the world’s leading terminal designer, up to 2X faster than the competitors top-of-the-line product, and capable of processing multiple service providers.
2. Qpay Virtual Payment System (QVPS): an online payment-processing platform, which provides quick and seamless integration, and is fully customizable to both our service partners and the agents themselves.

The portals interface through a double redundant back-end server, are capable of generating fully customizable transaction receipts to the consumer and service partner, and when used in conjunction (QVPS and Verifone) provide for an uninterruptible processing stream.

Both solutions provide a duplicate receipt record of each and every transaction, so that both the customer and the Agent has a printed hard-copy for their records. The customer receipt is fully customizable, providing not just the specifics of the transaction, but also contains store location information as well as any type of special message the retailer would like to convey (promotions, giveaways, etc.).  Also included is a unique transaction number that serves as the confirmation number for the customer should any issue arise relating to account postings and or debits.
